About the webpage

This teaching program is based on some examples of living plankton, collected with plankton- net and later photographed through a microscope. In addition you will find video records of some of the organisms. The samples are both from coastal salt water and from fresh water.

How to use the webpage

To navigate between the different spieces you can use the menu on the right. Some of the pictures in the articles can be enlarged by clicking on them.

System requirements

Planktonweb requires a web browser with CSS compability. Most modern web browsers supports this. If you want to upgrade your web browser we can recomend Mozilla Firefox, Opera or Internet Explorer. Check if you have the latest version of your web browser.

Some of the pages in Planktonweb utilizes video. These can be viewed with Real Player. An light alternative is Real Alternative.
