Larvae plankton - Wart barnacle larvae

Miljø - sjø

The sea bottom-living crawfish, like crabs and wart barnacles, have free-swimming, larvae, living as plankton. Through different stages they develop and more and more they get resemblance to the adult form. The black point in the middle is the compound eye.

Video shows the movement of the legs to propell the larvae.
