Research Groups

The Center for Arts, Culture and Communication (SEKKK) supports and profiles the research groups at Western Norway University of Applied Sciences, preferably in collaboration with researchers at other institutions, nationally and internationally.

Research groups can also include master students. Research groups and research projects which are linked to SEKKK are relevant for educators at the Department of Teacher Education as well as for kindergarten, school and cultural life.

In the period 2009–2015 most of the research at the center was organized through the research program Kunstfagdidaktikk and led by Professor Aslaug Nyrnes.
