Visit from Sacred Heart University

New possibilities for cooperation between Bergen University College and Sacred Heart University in USA were discussed when representatives from the university visited Bergen this week.

The partners agreed to apply for funding from The Partnership Programme for Higher Education Collaboration with North America to develop a cooperation within Nursing, Physiotherapy and Occupational therapy.

The Partnership programme for North America was established by the Norwegian Ministry of Education and Research as a part of their North America strategy for cooperation within higher education. The purpose of the programme is to develop and strengthen lasting institutional partnerships between Norway, USA and Canada.

- We are happy that the two institutions agreed to apply for funding. We wish that as many as possible at Bergen University College apply for funding from the partnership programmes to further develop our international work, says Head of the International Office Elin Kvaale.
