Partnership Program for Higher Education Collaboration with North America

The partnership program for North America (NORAM) supports cooperation between Norway, USA and Canada, to develop institutionally anchored partnership of high quality. Central objectives are increased cooperation, increased link between research and education, increased collaboration with industry/work life and increased student mobility.

Building Capacity in Physiotherapy through Global Educational Partnership: A Norway-Canada-United States Consortium

The purpose of this project is to develop a sustainable model for international collaboration that will have a positive iompact on population health status through the education of physical therapists (PTs). In addition to the three university partners, the project also includes cooperation on clinical supervsion with Duke University Hospital and Haukeland University Hospital.  

Project activities

Project activities include student mobility on undergraduate and graduate level, curriculum development, guest lectures, joint research projects and workshops and seminars. An annual Summer Institute is held biannualy at Bergen University College ad Duke University with participating students and staff from the tree partners.
