The programme qualifies the student for employment as a radiographer through theoretical and practical training. Furthermore, it seeks to promote the student's personal development and encourage him/her to become a responsible and independent person using advanced technology as an aid in the diagnosis and treatment of disease and injury. Students will gain a broad and basic knowledge as a foundation for further broadening of knowledge, acquisition of skills and specialisation. The programme aims at fostering co-operation, tolerance and understanding of economic and environmental issues

Main Focus of Programme

The programme covers three main fields of study:

  • Radiographic image production and treatment
  • Natural sciences
  • Social sciences

Organisation

The programme is organised as a combination of lectures, group work, individual studies, seminars and practical work. Problem-based Learning (PBL) is the underlying basis for the structure of the programme, which consists of twothirds theoretical and one third practical studies. Most projects, group exercises, seminars, courses, supervised skill-training, and practice are obligatory.
